According to a study at Washington University in St. Louis, listening to speech that is accented is more difficult for the brain to process than listening to your native speech. For people with hearing loss, it can be even harder, researchers say.
For this reason, Brain Lint Productions is beginning a series called NAA (North American Accent). NAA will take classic British books and make them into audiobooks with a standard North American accent.
The first in this series is beloved children’s classic, Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter . Our second title will be Emma by Jane Austen.

Brain Lint is working on a new factual television show called “One Stitch At A Time” for Shaw Spotlight. It is a half hour series about embroidery: its history & cultural significance plus its current traditions. Stay tuned for release dates.
